Public Invited to LBI Historical Association’s Spring Fundraiser

Buckalew's Restaurant has hosted the
LBI Historical Association's annual event.

Bring a friend or three to the Long Beach Island Historical Association’s annual spring dinner at Buckalew’s Restaurant on Sunday, May 17, at 6 p.m. The event, which helps raise funds for the Long Beach Island Museum, is open to all members as well as the public.

Dinner will include a house salad and choice of flank steak au poivre, chicken marsala with spaghetti, or pan-seared flounder. Chicken kabobs and mushrooms will be passed as appetizers, and creme anglaise will be served for dessert. A cash bar will also be available. Soda, tea and coffee are included.

Tickets, which include a donation to the museum, cost $45 each.
