U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary hosting Safe Boating Class at Bay Avenue Community Center

Boating season is right around the corner, making now the perfect time for boaters to get state certified to operate their vessels.
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 74 is sponsoring a Safe Boating Class at the Bay Avenue Community Center, located at 775 East Bay Ave. in Manahawkin, on Saturday, March 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The class for state certification, which is required for all powerboaters and personal watercraft operators, includes books, materials and lunch. All students who successfully complete the class will receive a state safe boating certificate that day.
